The Template:Convert/± formats a pair of numbers separated by unicode &plusmn symbol, "±" to indicate a range as plus-or-minus some amount. Examples:

  • {convert|9|+/-|1|m|ft}}    → 9 ± 1 metre (29.5 ± 3.3 ft)
  • {convert|45|+/-|5|F|C}}    → 45 ± 5 °F (7 ± 3 °C)
  • {convert|60|+/-|2|ft|m|lk=on}}     → 60 ± 2 feet (18.29 ± 0.61 m)
  • {convert|70|+/-|3|ft|m|abbr=off}} → 70 ± 3 feet (21.34 ± 0.91 metres)
  • {convert|80|+/-|4|ft|m|adj=on}}    → 80 ± 4-foot (24.4 ± 1.2 m)
  • {convert|45|+/-|3|acre|abbr=on}}  → 45 ± 3 acres (18.2 ± 1.2 ha)
